My name is Natalie Irwin, and I am deeply committed to helping every child discover the joy of reading and spelling. My teaching career has taken me through primary classrooms across Denver, Douglas County, and Littleton, but my true mission began at home. When my middle daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia at age seven, my world shifted. Witnessing her struggle sparked a fire within me to master the Orton-Gillingham approach, not just for her, but for every student who learns differently. I have been a certified classroom teacher since 2018 and became an Associate through the Academy of Orton-Gillingham in 2024. As a dedicated lifelong learner, I am always seeking the most effective methods to support my students. I have called Colorado home for 26 years, where I live with my wonderful family, two dogs, and a cat. When I am not tutoring, you can find me outdoors or cheering loudly at a hockey game.
